Thiago Silva One Year Suspension For Steroids is Officially Over
This past Sunday marked the end of Silva’s one year suspension for admitting to the use of steroids and producing fake urine for his pre-fight drug test at UFC 125. Silva told the commission that he did use the prescribed steroid in order to aid his three bulging discs in his back. Silva admitted to ordering fake urine online and used it when he turned his back to the inspector in the room in order to mask his steroid use.
Silva is also required to pay a $33,750 fine.
