Top Rank/NORD Boxing Gate and Attendance

On February 7, NORD boxing incorporation of with Top Rank boxing put on a televised event from the State Farm Arena headlined by Ivan Najera vs Robbie Cannon. The event had a total of 1583 tickets sold with only 495 tickets being comped. The highest selling ticket of the night was the $30 ticket which sold 613 tickets generating $18,390 for that price tier. Surprisingly, the $10 tickets were the 4th highest selling with only 160 tickets being bought. In total, the show generated $56, 925 at the gate. This puts the promotion on track to surpass last years total gate of $83,132. This would also put them on track to pass last year’s total tickets sold of 2,237.

On this gate alone, NORD already surpassed last year’s records for both ticket sales and for highest gate. Both records that NORD held last year. They only event I can see passing this gate is the rumored Omar Figueroa fight against Ricky Burns at the State Farm Arena. Time will tell if it can be beat and what kind of success NORD will have but the year has started off great not only for fight fans but for NORD Boxing Promotions.
